‘The trees are out to get me’ is a performance piece influenced by the story of The Company of Wolves by Angela Carter. Adapting her fairytale retellings, I use video, sound and lip-syncing to tell a story of queerness, animal transformation and familial dynamics. It was performed as part of Double Okay’s event ‘The trees are out to get me’, as part of Reading Fringe Festival at the After Dark.
